Terms of service

These rules govern use of the EvadeGuard Discord bot and related services.

Service purpose

EvadeGuard provides Discord verification, security-signal matching, moderation workflows, and configurable enforcement tools. Security signals are indicators, not proof of identity. Server owners and moderators remain responsible for their enforcement decisions.

Confidentiality

Server owners, administrators, moderators, and anyone given access to EvadeGuard information must keep verification results, moderation logs, security events, account identifiers, and related user information confidential.

They may not screenshot, copy, download, repost, publish, or share moderation logs, security events, or user information with people who do not have authorized moderator or administrator access to the relevant server. This includes public channels, other servers, social media, and private groups without a legitimate moderation or legal need.

Information may be shared with authorized moderators or administrators of the relevant server only when reasonably needed for verification, moderation, security review, incident response, or legal compliance. It must not be used to harass, dox, intimidate, discriminate against, or retaliate against a user.

Responsible use

Users must not bypass verification or enforcement, misuse OAuth flows or verification links, or use the service for unlawful or abusive purposes. Server owners and moderators must configure the bot accurately, restrict access to authorized personnel, and follow Discord's rules and applicable law.

Enforcement and limitations

A violation may result in EvadeGuard being suspended or disabled for the affected Discord server. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent removal of the server from the service.

Privacy and changes

Information is handled as described in the Privacy policy. These terms may be updated when the service, security practices, or legal requirements change.
